21th Nation Team Trophy
To be played by national teams consisting of three players. Each nation can play with 1 or 2 teams. The nation with the lowest total of the two gross scores for each day of competition will be the winner.
Format
36 holes
Players from 1st 2nd and 3rd categories - stroke play
Players from 4th category – stableford
Players will play from Red tee-boxes
Categories
1st : handicaps 6,0 or lower
2nd: handicaps from 6,1 to 12,0
3rd: handicaps from 12,1 to 18,0
4th: handicaps from 18,1 to 24,0
Carts
Only Ladies over 70 years of age are allowed to ride motorized carts, except for medical reasons.
Ties
In the event of a tie, the winner of the stroke play competition shall be decided by a sudden-death playoff. Any other ties will be resolved using the score over the last 18,9,6,3 and last holes; if still a tie, it will be decided by lot.
The Competition Committee will lay down the order of the holes to play; otherwise, the natural order of the course will prevail.
Prizes
1st and 2nd Gross scores in categories - the best stroke play score is the winner of the Teresa Symington Trophy.
1st Gross score in Super Senior Players (70th birthday on or before 31 December 2023)
1st Gross score in APSGS members
1st Net score, full handicap, in categories
Gross scores prevails over handicap scores and all prizes are not cumulative
Entry handicap will not change for net scores purposes from 1st to 2nd day
